Fog is created naturally when warm humid air suddenly comes in contact with the cool air, resulting in condensation. The process is similar to mist formation, however there is some difference. Fog contains finer water droplets compared to mist i.e. averaging 05-20 micron in size instead of 30-60 micron. Fog is like a cloud, denser than mist, it limits visibility to 1 km or less, depending upon its concentration.
Can we produce fog artificially?
Yes! Fog can be produced artificially, through a high-pressure misting system that operates at 800-1000 PSI pressure.
